Canterbury Cathedral

My home is Canterbury way down south in Kent. During my growing up years, I spent a lot of time in the Cathedral either at Churches Together or School events. I know its just a building but its a special one and a very important one in terms of the history of the church in the UK. I love going home and seeing it towering over the city - its a kind of reassuring sight. Anyway, its been well publicised just recently that the Cathedral is in dire need of repair. There always seems to be scaffolding at one bit or another but now they've gone public and put out a massive appeal.
